the home’s expansive views across lush Waikato farmland to the Kaimai Ranges or venture out to explore local attractions like the famous Hobbiton Village or Wairere Falls.In the evening, dine out at one of Matamata’s 48 eateries, then return to share the day’s experiences with fellow guests in our spacious main lounge. The upstairs den provides a cosy hide-away to take in a movie or a good book.Whether you are with us for a night or a week, you’ll go on your way relaxed and re-energised. The name carved into one of the main beams, Pen Saer Loft, means Master Carpenters Barn.

With arms outstretched towards the open sky

And smiles break out with utter joy,

With peels of laughter
