A beautiful view of the ocean welcomes you as you enter this well-appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Watch the waves roll in from the queen bed in the master bedroom, or step out on the balcony. The second bedroom provides privacy at the opposite end of the condo, with the open living / dining / kitchen area separating the sleeping rooms. A full size washer / dryer in the second bath room, which i

ncludes a shower. The deck overlooking the ocean includes Adirondack chairs along with a small table for dining. In addition to a large flat-screen TV and DVD player in the living room, each bedroom also has a TV and DVD player. The condo includes free high-speed WiFi internet service. The kitchen includes everything you need to prepare and serve meals, or you can walk to several restaurants nearby. The owners stay in this condo regularly, so they make sure everything you need will be there. The Food Lion grocery store is 1 mile away - a long walk or a short drive - from the condo. Bed linens and towels are not provided but can be rented by contacting Helping Hands (a local vendor). At the lower level of the condo complex, the Islander complex features a private in-ground swimming pool for our guests, picnic area with gazebo, charcoal grills, fish cleaning station, bike rack, 2 outside private showers, and ample parking. You will also be given a key to the lower level storage room for any beach equipment you bring or rent. The condo complex is next door to the Avon Fishing Pier and the Beach Klub complex. Spa Koru is a block away, with excellent fitness and spa facilities available for daily or weekly rental. Be aware that, like most beach homes, the condo complex is elevated. Tressa Terrace is on the second floor of the condo, and that means lots of steps. The condo is not wheelchair accessible. This is a non-smoking unit, and pets are not allowed. We chose a Sunday turnover day to allow you to avoid the heavier Saturday traffic on the roads and at the grocery.

The Outer Banks doesn’t have to prove anything.

A few weeks ago, a couple staying in Avon woke up before sunrise because they “couldn’t sleep.” They made coffee, walked out onto the balcony, and just sat there listening to the wind and distant waves. No phones. No music. No talking.
