Good Monday morning from our bay! Here are our current marine conditions:
⚓️ Winds: North to Northeast winds at 10 to 15 knots (shifting from N at 5–10 mph during the day to NE at 3–5 mph by evening/night).

⚓️ Waves: 2 feet or less (partly sunny to mostly clear skies).

🚨 BREAKING: ST. CLAIR SHORES MAN REFUSES TO LET MARINA PULL HIS BOAT OUT, SAYS "NOT WITH A 70 ON THE BOARD"

MACOMB COUNTY — A standoff on the Nautical Mile entered its third day Friday after a local man planted a lawn chair on the back of his 24-foot cruiser and told the forklift guy "you'll have to take me with it."

The marina had him scheduled for haul-out and shrink wrap Wednesday. He saw the forecast instead. Sunny 60s today and Saturday, close to 70 on Sunday, and still in the 60s most of next week.

"He's in shorts and flip flops with a hoodie on top, like a mullet but for clothes," said one witness. "Every time the forklift beeps he turns up Bob Seger."

His wife told reporters she has been negotiating through the dock gate since Wednesday. "I offered him Coney for dinner. He asked if they deliver to slip 41. They do now apparently?? lmao"

Neighbors in the boatyard, whose boats are already wrapped up like giant leftovers in the fridge, are reportedly "jealous but would never admit it."

A marina official confirmed the man has now requested a mailing address change to the boat.

Officials remind residents the mornings are still in the 40s and that the lake does not care about your feelings. The man responded by asking if anybody had a space heater and an extension cord "like a really long one."
