Coming up on August 29th!

On Saturday, August 29th, the Chippewa Luce Mackinac Conservation District is hosting an Invasive Species Monitor Training Workshop at The Brooder House at the Drummond Island Resort, 32372 E Tourist Rd.

Classroom time runs from 1 to 2 PM followed by field work from 2 to 4 PM. No experience needed — just show up ready to learn what to look for and where to find it.

The more people on the trails who can identify invasive species, the better chance the island has of staying ahead of the spread. This is practical knowledge that directly benefits every trail, every property, and every corner of Drummond Island.
