And just like that, it's almost summer!?? In other words, it is FINALLY warm enough and dry enough to paint and stain!

We couldn't ask for a better work area today.

Adam is staining decks and adding non-skid treatment 🤞🏻
while I am painting trim and other things white.

And I'm not even wearing a sweatshirt!

One of our favorite things about Drummond Island history is realizing how many ordinary moments eventually become part of the story.

The old ferry rides.
Family fish fries.
Camp photos tucked into albums.
Kids jumping off docks.
Storms on the lake.
Long winters and muddy springs.

Years later, those small moments become the memories people treasure most.
