We have an Olympic size swimming pool & hiking trails. In-season, there’s a snack bar and a variety of activities for all ages! Happy Hills is a family owned and operated campground since August 1996. We are nestled on a wooded mountain, just five miles west of historical Hancock. Enjoy our 350 beautiful mountain acres of trees and trails where you can hike and walk to the C&O Canal National park

and ride the Bike Trail for 36 miles in view of the Potomac river. There are 200 camping sites which we offer for yearly or monthly rentals. We also have weekend and weekly full hook up pull-thru camp sites along with tent sites. Activities are planned for families, for all ages all through the summer and fall. On August 21st we will have Truax’s Tree Service operating in the campground, taking down one of our large poplar trees located next to the
D-row bathhouse. Jake Truax and his team are true professionals operating out of Berkeley Springs, WV. They bring years of experience to the table when it comes to residential and commercial tree removal, emergency cleanup, and site clearing/cleanup.

With that said, they will be bringing in a bucket truck along with a crane to take care of our tree removal. For our campers who are located in the vicinity of that location, be mindful where you park your vehicles, atvs, etc. We will have that section of the campground along with the bathhouse shutoff to traffic while they are working.

Finally, we ask our campers to welcome Jake and his team. We appreciate what they do and are grateful for their assistance!
