Built in 1949, our nine-room country inn is recognized by the Stowe Historical

Society as one of Stowe's first ski lodges. The inn remains one of the most popular year round destinations in the quintessential New England town that is Stowe. The rustic interior of our bed and breakfast is finished with rich knotty pine, exuding a warmth only bested by the roaring fire in our large fieldstone fireplaces. Inside our casual country inn you will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, friendly and attentive New England hospitality, and memorable full country breakfasts and afternoon treats. NIGHT WATCH // Everyone loves a sunrise, but what about a moonrise?

Some of the best Vermont activities don’t happen during the day. In fact, Vermont is one of the absolute best places for stargazing (and moon gazing!) on the East Coast thanks to minimal light pollution and low humidity for clear views.

We’re looking forward to our next big celestial event: the Perseid meteor shower! It starts in late July and peaks around August 11–13. Come make a wish on a shooting star with us! 💫
