Many of you know that I usually take part in the Cape Town Cycle Tour around the Cape Peninsula. Inspired (perhaps a little recklessly) by some English friends who joined me this year, I’ll be lining up tomorrow for the London to Brighton Cycle Tour.

That means Box Hill and Ditchling Beacon are ahead of me — and I’d be very grateful for some moral support from afar!

I’m raising funds for the British Heart Foundation via my JustGiving page, and I have just 24 hours to reach my target of £150. Every donation helps, no matter how small — even contributions in Rand are hugely appreciated.

Come and be part of the movement. The 12th Annual Home from Home Amble on Sunday 16th November 2025 at 8.15am at Scarborough beach car park. Raising funds to buy new school shoes for the kids from Home From Home. Bring your friends and family, water and snacks. This year we be joining with KomRun club and doing a 10km and 20km run too.
