Flavour. Wow!

What an incredible birthday meal out we had at Flavour, it was the most flawless night. The staff made it so so special, with Chris walking us through every course, and a wonderful sommelier telling us about each and every w**e (and mocktail) paired with our food.

Safe to say we will be back again in the new season!

This evening we have been busy building a wonderful jigsaw from Blamire at Harris which we picked up this afternoon. We have a few of their puzzles around the house and have thoroughly enjoyed them. We also love the pottery from there and have Blamire soap dispensers in the bathrooms!

Always worth it to pop in for some homeware and some keepsakes from harris!

Hard to believe its not summer at Baile An Or, it certainly looks it, blue skies and a warm sun have made it feel like Costa Del Ardslave the last few days.

Whether its a warm summer day or a cool winter afternoon, this is our favourite place to be, so make it yours too.

We are experts at glass making now, these wonderful coasters were made last week when we popped into Harris Glass Studio with some friends. It is so wonderful to make a keepsake from the Island and be able to take it (or post it) back home.

This last week we were lucky enough to get a bottle of the new 10 Year Old Hearach from The Isle of Harris Distillery, it was nothing short of incredible! What better way to enjoy it than on front of the fire. This one won’t last long 🤣

We had a wonderful time at Saltbox Sauna this week, it was absolutely incredible, the contrast of outside, the scenery and weather and being in the hot sauna just felt incredible!

This is wonderful news, we had an incredible meal at Flavour. a few months ago, and are very excited to visit them again next month for another wonderful experience.

This is a huge achievement for the island, we highly recommend an evening at Flavour!

What a special meal at North Harbour Bistro, it was truly divine. It was fabulous and a must visit when on the island, everything we had was just perfect and so fresh!

Harris is full of great places to eat, make Baile An Or your place to stay and tick them all off !

Autumn can still be a wonderful time of year for golf on the Island, we love The Isle of Harris Golf Club for 9 holes. It is really great to get a sunny day on the course, an incredible drive on the sixth also features from yours truly! Although missed eagle and birdie putt to make par 😑.
