With beautiful sunny days still reaching the 60s and 70s, there’s plenty of golf left to enjoy in the Northwoods.

If you’re headed to Whiplash this fall, don’t forget to pack your golf bag. There are several great courses nearby, including Big Fish, Hayward Golf Club, Spider Lake Golf Resort, Lakewoods and Lakeview.

A round of golf, fall in the Northwoods and Whiplash to come home to. Sounds pretty good to us. 🌲

Some of our favorite days at Whiplash are the ones we spend outside together. We love getting out on the trails, jumping on the ATVs, exploring somewhere new and getting a little dirty along the way.

There’s something pretty special about having this much room for family’s to just get out and be adventurous together. These are the Whiplash days we love most. 🌲🍂

A trail turns into exploring. Exploring turns into digging, climbing and discovering something they absolutely have to show you later.

Two years ago today, Whiplash got to be part of something incredibly special. 🤎

On September 21, 2024, dear friends of ours chose Whiplash Retreat for both their wedding ceremony and reception, and it was one of the most beautiful days we’ve ever had here.

They exchanged vows surrounded by the woods and water, celebrated with the people they love most, and filled the property with so much joy from beginning to end.

From the ceremony by the lake to dinner, dancing, laughter, and celebrating together into the night, every part of the day felt meaningful.

We’ve always believed Whiplash is more than a place to stay. It’s a place for people to come together for the moments that matter most, and being trusted with a day this special was truly an honor.

Happy 2nd anniversary, Kayla Patton + Joe Patton 🤎
