The world has lost a true legend 💙

More than 40 years after performing at Glasgow’s King’s Theatre, Dolly spoke fondly about her memories of the city and its fans, while also revealing that part of her family came from Scotland.

“I am part-Scottish, but I don’t know which part! You can claim any part you want. I know a lot of it’s in my voice.”

Tonight, Scotland joins the rest of the world in remembering one of music’s most loved and unmistakable icons.
