Last night’s Bring ’n Braai was a reminder of why braais are such a big part of South African culture. 🇿🇦🔥

It’s not just about the food – it’s about getting people together, sharing stories, making new friends and enjoying a lekker evening with great company.

Team building, but make it memorable. 🙌🔥

This week our teams swapped their usual roles for roller skates, golf clubs, and a whole lot of laughs!

🛼 Reception hit the roller rink, proving that falling over is just part of the fun (and the learning 🤣).

⛳ Housekeeping took on cave golf, showing that sometimes all it takes is one more shot—and a little encouragement from your team.

A little friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and two very happy teams. We would happily recommend both of these activities to our guests looking for a fun way to experience Cape Town together! Perfect for rainy day fun - chat to the teams for more info…

A cute snap from last night as a few of our guests headed over to our sister hostel’s bar, , to catch Bafana Bafana take on Canada in the ! 🍻⚽️

Okay… we didn’t get the result we were hoping for 💔 but the atmosphere, the beers and the good company definitely made it a win in our books. 🇿🇦

The best thing about winter in Cape Town? 🇿🇦🌅 It has to be the sunsets. ♥️

Somehow they get even more spectacular than in summer, lighting up the city with colours that barely look real.

If you’re looking for an epic sunset mission, add Kloof Corner to your list. It’s a short 20–30 minute hike from Tafelberg Road, with a bit of a scramble at the end, but the views are 100% worth it. Think panoramic views of the City Bowl, Lion’s Head, Camps Bay and the Atlantic Ocean all glowing in golden-hour magic. ✨
