There’s no better way to start the day than enjoying breakfast when, suddenly, a herd of elephants appears to surprise our guests. 🐘❤️

We often hear our guests say, “We’ve seen this on your Instagram…” — but then they experience it for themselves, right here in the bush.

And that’s when they realise… seeing it on a screen is one thing, but experiencing a herd of elephants wandering past while you’re sitting at breakfast is something completely different. ✨

These are the moments that make safari so special — unexpected, unforgettable, and completely wild. 🌿🐘

The way this little calf leans into his mom while drinking water reminds us that, in so many ways, we are all the same. ❤️🐘

And then there are those playful little trunks—still figuring out how to use them! Blowing bubbles in the water, splashing themselves to cool down, and turning every moment into a little adventure. 🥰

Spending the whole day watching these little ones playfully drinking water is pure bliss. 💛

Sometimes it's a struggle for the calves to find the perfect spot, but they never give up. They cleverly use their tiny trunks to reach the water, and watching their determination is simply heartwarming.

We feel incredibly blessed to call this place home and even more grateful to share these unforgettable moments with you all. 🐘✨

Mbizi Bush Lodge guests were fortunate to witness one of the park's rarest and most heartwarming sightings — a beautiful cheetah mother with her cubs. Seeing cheetahs is always a privilege, but spotting a mother caring for her young in the wild is an unforgettable experience and a reminder of the incredible wonders that the African bush has to offer.
