Another wonderful sighting for our guests this week!

There is always something special about spending time with a lioness in the wild.

Did you know? Lionesses do most of the hunting for their pride, often working together to improve their chances of catching prey. Their teamwork is a vital part of keeping the pride fed and thriving.

Haha ok that a tough one, I think we just focus on the bush part for this post?

Caught in a moment of pure wild beauty.

Another incredible image captured on game drive by Gerhard, our safari guide and all round bush expert.

There’s something special about seeing a leopard pause among the branches, completely at ease in its surroundings. These are the moments that remind us why we never tire of exploring the bush. Every drive holds the promise of something extraordinary.

A little behind the scenes of an elephant ear! 🐘

Did you know an elephant’s ears are more than just for hearing?

The skin on their ears is filled with a network of blood vessels. By flapping their ears, elephants move air across this surface, helping to cool the blood flowing through those vessels and regulate their body temperature.

Nature’s very own cooling system! 🌿

Pretty clever, don’t you think?
